Warranty, Freight and Return Policy

Freight Policy:
Before signing the freight bill of lading, immediately inspect the shipment for damage. It is the responsibility of the signer to off-load merchandise from the trucks. If there is any evidence of damage make a notation on the bill (e.g. cardboard torn, further inspection required) before signing. In the event of a problem contact your Sunhill sales representative.

Warranty:
Sunhill makes every effort possible to assure that its equipment meets the highest possible standards of quality and durability. All products sold by Sunhill are warranted to the original customer to be free from defects for a period of 1 (one) year on all parts and motors. Sunhill’s obligation under this warranty shall be exclusively limited to repairing or replacing (at Sunhill’s option) products which are determined by Sunhill to be defective upon delivery F.O.B. (return freight paid by customer) Sunhill, and on inspection by Sunhill. This warranty does not apply to defects due, directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorized repairs, alterations, lack of maintenance, acts of nature, or items that would normally be consumed or require replacement due to normal wear. In no event shall Sunhill be liable for death, personal or property injury, or damages arising from the use of its products.

Warranty Procedure:
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to Sunhill prepaid along with proof of purchase. Any returned machinery or parts must be accompanied by a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (R.M.A. #). Contact Sunhill Customer Service for an R.M.A. number. Warranty items must be received at Sunhill facilities before replacements are sent out. If inspection reveals a defect, we will repair or replace the item and return the item at our expense. Any warranty returns sent C.O.D. or sent without an R.M.A. number will be refused.

Returns:
All merchandise returned for refund is subject to a 20% restocking charge. Merchandise must be returned in unused condition and original packaging within 90 days of purchase date. Customer must pay all freight charges on returns and obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (R.M.A. #) by contacting Sunhill Customer Service. Any returns sent C.O.D. or sent without an R.M.A. number will be refused. Customer is responsible for any shipping charges to or from Sunhill Machinery and shipping fees will not be refunded.
