This machine has a solid one piece base. It bores from the bottom side or fence side of the work piece, which gives a uniform and accurate depth of bore. The depth is not affected by variations in board thickness. The other advantage is that it prevents the external surfaces of the work piece from being marred by the metal work table.
The control panel is conveniently located at the front of the machine allowing for easy adjustment of the pneumatic speed regulator and the V/H boring positions.
The single pneumatic pedal requires minimum maintenance.
The motor is activated only during boring which minimizes power consumption & noise.
